The Offline Nacho
At some point, everything started requiring a password. You can’t watch a movie, order a pizza, or pay your bills without proving you’re still you. But nachos? Nachos never log you out. They don’t need two-factor authentication, or an update, or a reminder to verify your email. They trust you. You show up, they’re there, and the transaction is immediate — chip, cheese, satisfaction.
There’s a simplicity in that kind of honesty. You don’t have to sign in, subscribe, or agree to terms and conditions that you’ll never read. The only question nachos ask is: “Are you hungry?” And if you say yes, that’s all the access you need. They’re the original open-source system — built by hand, shared freely, no firewalls, no hidden fees.
Sure, some people like to complicate them. Add exotic toppings, layer them like a spreadsheet, serve them on reclaimed wood. But the best nachos are still the ones you build yourself, no interface required.
Nachos don’t want your data. They just want to be eaten. They are the one login you’ll never forget, because it’s made entirely of cheese.
